Luisha Project

Excellen Minerals SARL Luisha Project is located in the south of Luisha Town, Kambove District, Katanga Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Construction of the project began on April 6, 2019, and it officially started production in July 2020. The project is designed to produce 30,000 tons of cathode copper, 3,000 tons of crude cobalt hydroxide and 100,000 tons of concentrated sulfuric acid annually. It is the first factory of Shanghai Jayson New Energy Material Group Co., Ltd. in Africa. The project reached its production capacity upon its commissioning. Currently, the self-owned mine PE4881 of Excellen is under development. The first phase of the project is designed to produce 17,500 tons of copper concentrate containing copper annually, and it is planned to be put into production in mid-2026.
