Ansheng Minerals Establishes School-Enterprise Partnership with USAWA Vocational School in the DRC

On May 18, 2023, Ansheng Minerals, a subsidiary of a Congolese mining company, invited leaders from USAWA Vocational School in the DRC, along with student representatives from the metallurgy, boiler manufacturing, and automotive repair programs, to visit the company’s facilities. During the visit, both parties established a school-enterprise partnership focusing on building an internship base and talent recruitment efforts.

USAWA is a vocational school in Likasi City, Katanga Province, DRC, that trains technical professionals. The school provides students with specialized training and practical experience, equipping them with skills in various technical fields. In April of this year, Ansheng Minerals conducted its first campus recruitment event at USAWA, offering valuable employment opportunities to students. The recruitment event was warmly received by the school and students, attracting a large number of participants.

This school-enterprise cooperation not only helps the company recruit local technical talent but also provides students with valuable employment opportunities. Recruiting and training local talent, promoting management and technical transfers, and advancing localization efforts are key operational strategies for Ansheng Minerals.
