National Assembly Delegation of Lualaba Province Visits LUILU Resources for Inspection

On September 2, 2024, Eddy MBUYU, Chairman of the National Assembly Delegation from Lualaba Province, along with a group of six officials, visited LUILU Resources, a subsidiary of a Congolese mining company, for an inspection tour.

Accompanied by Mr. Yin Xuanwen, General Manager of LUILU Resources, and Mr. Wang Shuhua, Assistant General Manager, the delegation toured the company’s central control room, the local employee cafeteria, and other facilities. They gained a comprehensive understanding of the company’s basic production and operation conditions, product processes, social responsibility efforts, labor management, employee benefits, and future development plans.

During the meeting, Mr. Yin Xuanwen extended a warm welcome to the delegation, expressing heartfelt thanks for the continuous support from the provincial assembly and surrounding communities. He emphasized that while the company is focused on investing and developing its business, it will remain committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities, creating more job opportunities for local employees, promoting the socio-economic development and prosperity of the area, and improving the community’s well-being. He also expressed hope that the National Assembly of Lualaba Province would continue to support the company’s development.

The delegation praised the efforts and achievements of the company’s Chinese and Congolese employees, congratulated the company on its accomplishments in production and construction, and highly appreciated the company's commitment to social responsibility. They expressed sincere gratitude for the company’s selfless contributions and hoped that LUILU Resources would continue to make significant contributions to improving local living standards and promoting the socio-economic development of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The two sides also engaged in in-depth discussions on issues such as electricity supply coordination.
