Ansheng Mining Co., Ltd. Successfully Produces First Batch of Cobalt

On November 1, 2020, Ansheng Mining Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company in the Democratic Republic of Congo, successfully produced its first batch of cobalt hydroxide filter cake.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Ansheng Mining's entire team worked tirelessly, ensuring the safety of the production environment. They overcame obstacles, accelerated work, ensured quality, and focused on production. In the shortest time possible, they completed equipment installation and commissioning, streamlined the entire production process, and ensured the successful output of the cobalt system. With a design capacity of 3,000 tons of cobalt-containing cobalt hydroxide annually, the successful commissioning of the cobalt system marks another milestone for Ansheng Mining, following the launch of the copper system. This achievement provides strong resource support for the company’s vertical integration of the lithium battery cathode material industry chain and opens a new chapter.
