On December 26, 2022, LUILU Resources launched its 100,000-ton sulfuric acid system, completing the full production of its copper, cobalt, and sulfuric acid systems, improving competitiveness.
Since July 8, 2022, LUILU’s engineering team worked diligently through the rainy season to install the system. In just over five months, key milestones included the installation of acid-resistant bricks, firebrick lining, and the commissioning of various systems. The sulfur spraying system was launched on December 26, reaching full capacity and standards.
In 2022, the company overcame pandemic-related logistics and manpower challenges, achieving major milestones: successful copper system commissioning in May, production of cathode copper in June, shipment in August, and the cobalt precipitation workshop in September. The sulfuric acid system began production in December.
In 2023, LUILU Resources will focus on achieving production targets, meeting safety and cost goals, improving employee living conditions, advancing localization, and fostering high-quality, healthy development.
